About the Role
U-Haul is seeking friendly, motivated individuals to serve as the face of our company's exceptional service. As a Customer Service Representative, you will work as part of a supportive team to ensure customers receive all the help they need on their journeys. This role goes beyond standard customer service; you will be the expert guiding clients through the rental process while actively maintaining the fleet that keeps them moving.
Your day will involve a dynamic mix of high-touch customer interaction and hands-on equipment management. You will assist customers both inside and outside the center, using up-to-date U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory. A significant part of your mission involves inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining U-Haul trucks and trailers, including checking fluid levels and installing hitches. You will also be responsible for preparing rental invoices, accepting returned equipment, and educating customers on our products and services.
This position is designed for those who enjoy a fast-paced environment where they can learn and grow. We offer on-the-job education through U-Haul University, including certifications for filling propane and operating a forklift. Hiring Process
We believe in a transparent and rewarding hiring experience. We invite you to schedule two hands-on working interviews, for which you will be paid for each session. To further support your transition, we offer a $100 hiring bonus. Additionally, upon completion of the U-Haul Equipment Inspection and Verification through our 1-2-3 Punch Certification Program at retail stores, you will receive a $300 cash bonus.
