Maximus is recruiting for a Customer Service Rep II to support the CDC INFO program, the CDC's national contact center. This role serves as a critical bridge between the public, healthcare providers, and public health professionals, delivering up-to-date, reliable, and science-based health information on over 750 topics, including COVID-19.
In this position, you will serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries received via phone, email, chat, and SMS. Your day will involve providing assistance with general health questions, scheduling vaccine appointments, and coordinating the distribution of medical kits. While the majority of interactions are routine, you will also handle complex situations that require deviation from standard scripts to ensure accurate and empathetic support.
This is a temporary, remote position. Candidates must be prepared to use their own personal equipment, including a compliant computer, high-speed internet, and a smartphone for system login. The role demands a high degree of flexibility, as you must be available to work 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday, with potential requirements to work holidays, weekends, or alternate schedules to meet operational needs.
