As a Customer Advocate, you will lead the charge in delivering happiness to our customers. You will drive custom car haulers to deliver vehicles directly to customers' doors, handling the entire delivery experience with care and professionalism. This role involves frequently loading and unloading vehicles onto the hauler, performing thorough vehicle inspections to ensure safety, and completing detailed customer paperwork within our tracking system.
While a commercial license is not required to drive the hauler, you will receive ample training. The role is physically active, requiring you to walk, stand, and sustain activity for extended periods, as well as lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs. You will work in various conditions, including indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to weather, and must maintain a clean driving record in accordance with Carvana's policies.
To join our team, candidates must have at least 2 years of customer-facing experience. You must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. All applicants must pass a drug test and obtain a DOT Medical Card. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Depending on your location, you may be required to obtain specific licenses within the first few weeks or months of employment (e.g., Notary, Chauffeur's, Vehicle Verifier, or Salesperson licenses). Carvana sponsors the process for these requirements, but candidates must be able to satisfy state-specific requirements related to DMV, title, and registration systems.
