As a Customer Account Advisor at Aaron's, you serve as a coach to our customers, driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals. Your mission is to help customers understand the benefits of their lease agreements and ensure they are 100% satisfied with their products. By building relationships over the phone and through face-to-face interactions, you guide customers one step closer to ownership.
This role is designed for individuals who can connect with people, demonstrate empathy, and listen attentively. You will navigate difficult conversations with ease, explaining complex terms simply while utilizing strong negotiation and persuasion skills. Like all Aaron's team members, you will share a passion for making a real difference in the lives of others and creating strong personal connections for life.
Your day will involve a dynamic mix of customer engagement and operational duties. You will maintain updated customer information in the store system and document all payment appointments. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to direct contact with customers who have not renewed their lease agreements, conducted both via home visits and phone calls, where you will sell the benefits of timely renewal payments.
You will also assist the Customer Account Manager in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly revenue and renewal goals. Operational responsibilities include assisting with merchandise returns and guest deliveries, as well as cleaning and certifying merchandise in the Quality Assurance Center. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining weekly vehicle maintenance and route sheets, securely loading and protecting product in the company vehicle, and safely operating the company vehicle to support the Sales Team as needed.
Aaron's values its team members as its greatest asset. As an expression of appreciation, the company offers outstanding career training, competitive performance incentives, and excellent advancement opportunities. The distinctive benefits package includes paid time off (vacation, sick days, and holidays), medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with contribution matching. Note that benefits may vary based on full-time or part-time employment status.
Aaron's is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, gender, age, religion, or disability status.
