About the Role
This working supervisory custodial position serves as a vital link in maintaining the safety, security, and cleanliness of our school facilities and grounds. Reporting to the building supervisor, custodial manager, or assistant manager, you will provide technical and administrative supervision to a team of custodians. Your role ensures that the assigned facility remains a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
In this capacity, you will coordinate and direct all aspects of routine building and grounds maintenance. Your day will involve overseeing general cleaning, snow removal, lawn care, and minor repairs. You will also be responsible for inspecting buildings to ensure security and cleanliness, training staff on safety protocols, and managing the use of cleaning equipment and supplies. As an "emergency employee," you may be required to respond during inclement weather or other emergencies outside of normal school hours.
