About the Role

We are looking for a positive and personable Direct Support Professional to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of the people we serve. In this role, you will provide support for individuals and groups in residential and community settings, implementing services to address goals identified in each person's Individual Support Plan.

Your day will involve working with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to identify appropriate support methods and assisting clients in communicating their needs and requests. You will help clients identify personal outcomes that suit their interests, cultural backgrounds, and dreams for the future, while encouraging them to exercise control over their environment. The role includes assisting with daily living activities such as food preparation and house cleaning, transporting clients to day programs and community activities, and supporting them at vocational sites. You will also monitor medication dosages and provide consistent reinforcement and feedback for learning activities.

• Drug testing
• Education verification and credentialing based on position requirements
