About the Role
As a Custodian at Norcross High, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment for students and staff. You will be responsible for performing assigned cleaning and custodial care tasks according to the Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) Custodial Care Program schedule and guidelines. Your work ensures that school facilities remain safe and welcoming for everyone.
In this position, you will utilize approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment to perform daily duties while maintaining tools in safe working condition. You will also open and secure assigned facilities or grounds areas as instructed by supervisory staff. The role requires the ability to work effectively as part of a custodial team, fostering positive and cooperative relationships with colleagues and facility staff.
