About the Role

This position serves as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students while assessing patients and safely performing routine CT procedures in accordance with prescribed radiation safety protocols. You will independently operate equipment to complete imaging procedures, including IV placement, and review patient images prior to transmission to ensure they meet diagnostic quality standards.

Your day will involve verifying physician orders, utilizing radiology information systems to facilitate care, and explaining procedures to patients to ensure their understanding. You will adapt your communication style and approach to respect the privacy and specific needs of diverse patient populations. Additionally, you will assist attending physicians with interventional procedures requiring ultrasonic guidance and maintain strict confidentiality while working efficiently under pressure.
