Rush Specialty Hospital is a unique partnership between Select Medical and RUSH, operating as a 100-bed facility that seamlessly combines a critical illness recovery hospital with an acute inpatient rehabilitation unit. Our mission is to provide world-class inpatient post-ICU services to patients requiring extended healing and recovery. We are dedicated to addressing the complex medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges faced by individuals recovering from brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas.
Joining our team means becoming part of a larger network of over 44,000 professionals committed to delivering exceptional patient care. We strive to ease the burden on our staff and patients alike by offering company-paid parking and fostering an environment where well-being is a priority.
As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in our diagnostic imaging team. Your day will involve preparing patients for procedures by explaining processes and creating a comfortable environment, ensuring they feel supported throughout their journey. You will utilize proper patient positioning and technical factors to consistently produce high-quality diagnostic studies, operating CT scanners to generate cross-sectional images of specific anatomy.
This role requires precision and care, including the administration of contrast media as directed by referring physicians and vigilant monitoring of patients for any adverse drug events. Beyond clinical duties, you will contribute to the safety and reliability of our equipment by performing routine quality assurance and identifying basic malfunctions. You may also assist with necessary clerical duties, such as answering phones, to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
We are committed to your success and well-being from day one. Our extensive and thorough orientation program is designed to ensure a smooth transition into our setting, allowing you to start strong. We offer benefits that support the financial, work/life, and emotional well-being of you and your family members. Even for PRN and part-time positions, we provide access to a 401k plan (based on reaching 1,000 hours within the first anniversary or subsequent calendar year) and an employee assistance program.
To apply for this position, please submit your application through our official channels. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider qualified applicants regardless of background, including individuals with disabilities and veterans.
