About the Role

As a CT Tech at Baptist Medical Center Hospital, you will specialize in computed tomography, performing diagnostic procedures utilizing radiation detection and imaging equipment. You will provide quality care to patients of all age groups, from newborn to elderly, according to department standards. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced technology and be part of a healthcare community dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of our patients.

You will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic radiographs and CT images, evaluating images for technical quality, and assisting practitioners with fluoroscopy. Your day will involve ensuring radiation safety, communicating with patients to minimize anxiety, and maintaining a safe environment by implementing protective measures against thermal, electrical, mechanical, and radiation sources. Additionally, you may provide practical instruction and precepting for students and other healthcare professionals.
