This position serves as a vital member of our radiology team, performing computerized tomographic (CT) procedures to aid in the diagnosis of disease and injury. You will work according to protocols established by radiologists, ensuring precision and safety in every scan. The role requires versatility, as you must be proficient in performing at least three specialized procedures, including biopsies, TAVR, coronary work, Watchman procedures, extremity work for OR planning, ablations, or fiducial placement.
In this role, you will prepare and position patients, selecting anatomic and technical parameters with accuracy. You will administer contrast media and medications within the scope of practice and applicable regulations, while constantly monitoring patients for abnormal activity. A key part of your day involves maintaining a constant state of alertness to follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines, ensuring a safe environment for both patients and staff.
We are seeking candidates for a weekend shift schedule, specifically Friday from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. This position is on-call required and offers a comprehensive benefits package. External applicants may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $25,000.
