About the Role
Tennessee Donor Services is seeking a Preservation Coordinator in Nashville to save and enhance lives through the surgical removal, preservation, packaging, and distribution of organs. This role is vital to our mission of saving lives through organ donation. You will join a dynamic and enthusiastic team that embraces this important work, ensuring the highest standards of care for every donor and recipient.
Hiring Process

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssume primary responsibility for the renal preservation process including pumping and pump transport
- check_circlePerform extensive on-call responsibilities to assist with donor recovery activities
- check_circleCoordinate and assist in the surgical recovery, preservation, and packaging of organs and specimens
- check_circleCoordinate and assist with fly outs and fly backs for organ transport
- check_circleCoordinate and assist with organ allocation, placement, distribution, and transportation
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma or equivalent
- verifiedBachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- verifiedOne to two years OPO or health care experience required
- verifiedOperating room experience preferred
- verifiedHealth-related certification required
- verifiedISOP Level 1 certification required by end of first year
- verifiedWorking knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications
