Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is dedicated to developing competent and ethical entry-level clinicians who are confident in their ability to provide specialized treatment to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing obsessive-compulsive, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders.
This unpaid Master's level internship offers a unique opportunity to obtain professional and clinical development within our IOP setting. You will work directly with a multidisciplinary treatment team to support the safe, effective, and efficient functioning of our clinical services. The role is designed to help you build a practical understanding of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and DBT-Prolonged Exposure (DBT-PE).
In this position, you will engage in individual and family psychotherapy, crisis management, and various forms of group facilitation. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to organizational projects by collaborating with our marketing, outreach, quality assurance, or office management teams. The environment is warm and safe, focused on validating clients and motivating them to work through distress while eliminating neutralizing behaviors.
We interview and accept interns based on available spots, supervisor availability, and cultural fit. We are currently accepting applications for the 2026 cycle. Our centers offer internship opportunities year-round at all locations.
