About the Role
Join a supportive care team at Crouse Health Hospital in Syracuse, NY, for a full-time CRNA opportunity in an area ideal for outdoor exploration. Crouse Hospital offers a variety of cases and sites, all centrally located within a one-block radius, including the main hospital and three Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs). You will find a collegial anesthesia environment with supportive working relationships with surgeons and OR staff, backed by excellent Anesthesia Tech support and a Pre-Op Testing Center.
Staff members work in a care-team model under the leadership of Chief CRNA Adam Wojdyla. The team is encouraged to work to full scope, including regional anesthesia. Case assignments are diverse, covering General, OB/GYN, Bariatrics, Robotics, Ortho, Spine, Crani's, Thoracic, Vascular, Urology/Renal, ENT, Eyes, Plastics, Podiatry, Endo, EP/Cath Lab, and Healthy Peds.
Current open shifts include 8, 10, and 12-hour options. Call is voluntary and not required, with a post-call day off and additional pay offered for call duties.
About the Location
Syracuse is a medium-sized metropolitan area featuring restaurants, events, shopping, bars, and casinos. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy nearby boating, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and golf. The region offers short drives to the Adirondack Mountains, Thousand Islands, and the Finger Lakes wine region. Major universities such as Syracuse University and Upstate Medical University are also located in the area.
