Rutledge Tower Ambulatory Surgery is a dynamic facility comprising 9 operating rooms dedicated to serving both adult outpatient and inpatient populations. The Ambulatory Service Groupings cover a diverse range of specialties, including ENT, Oral Surgery, Adult Dentistry, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Gynecology, Urology, Pain Management, Orthopedics, Surgical Oncology, Endocrine, and Colorectal. As part of the Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA), the team is committed to delivering high-quality care within a collaborative environment.

About the Role

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) plays a pivotal role in providing anesthesia care to a wide spectrum of patients, ranging from pre-term neonates to geriatrics. Working in consultation with the attending anesthesiologist, you will prepare prescribed solutions and administer anesthetics following established methods and procedures. Your day-to-day responsibilities include informing physicians of patient conditions during anesthesia, conducting pre- and post-anesthesia patient visits, and documenting anesthesia notes in patient records. You will also provide resuscitative care as indicated and assist in the transport of patients.

This role offers the opportunity to participate in departmental teaching activities and a variety of continuing education programs. You will practice under the clinical supervision of the anesthesiologist and the administrative supervision of the CRNA manager, maintaining a high level of professionalism while utilizing anesthesia machines and related equipment. The position requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with surgeons, residents, anesthesia personnel, and nursing staff.
