As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will work with clients suffering from severe and persistent mental illness and substance abuse issues. Your work will span both a 24-hour hotline and community settings, requiring you to provide individual counseling, crisis counseling, and assessments while monitoring client psychiatric symptoms. You will consult with an interdisciplinary team, the consumer, consumer partners, and external agencies to promote person-centered recovery goals.
This role is considered essential personnel. You will work a rotating schedule including days, evenings, and overnights, as well as weekends and holidays. As part of the essential workforce, you are required to report to work during a state of emergency or adverse weather conditions to ensure continuous care for our community.
