About the Role

BBVA NY is seeking a Risk Officer to join our Financial Institutions team in New York. This position is designed for a professional with specific experience in Financial Sponsors coverage. The role focuses on fund finance activities, including capital call facilities, trading activity with funds, and holistic asset manager analysis. You will be responsible for analyzing complex financial statements, credit agreements, and documentation such as Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs) and side letters. The position requires presenting credit applications to both New York and Madrid Credit Committees and maintaining rigorous credit files to ensure readiness for internal audits.
