Monroe Capital is seeking a Real Estate Senior Associate/AVP in its New York, NY office to assist in the underwriting, due diligence, closing, and asset management of real estate credit investments. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to partner with senior team members to drive the firm's investment strategy.
In this hybrid position, you will work in the office four days per week. Your day-to-day will involve reviewing and underwriting new real estate credit transactions, creating and maintaining complex Excel models for credit, cash flow, and valuation analyses, and preparing investment committee presentations. You will engage with third-party diligence providers, assist with quarterly valuations and fund reporting, and support senior members with term sheet construction and portfolio asset management. The role requires a strong desire to assist with occasional non-real estate opportunistic credit transactions based on staffing needs.
