About TD

TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and the fifth largest bank in North America by branches. We strive to make every interaction, product, and experience remarkably human and refreshingly simple for over 27 million households and businesses across Canada, the United States, and globally. With more than 95,000 colleagues, we are reimagining what banking can be for our clients, colleagues, and communities.

About the Role

The Credit Portfolio Manager I supports the Non-Profit and Education Commercial Borrowers within the Personal & Commercial Banking line of business. This portfolio includes social services agencies, cultural institutions, charitable and scientific organizations, membership associations, religious organizations, schools, and other social benefit organizations. As part of a team of underwriters supporting the Greater Mid-Atlantic geography, you will serve as a consultant to business lines regarding credit issues, processes, and procedures.

In this role, you will gather financial and general business information to perform the analyses needed for credit decisions. You will contribute to the group loan decision process by evaluating credit risk and other key factors, while supporting the commercial banking team by recommending credit solutions that add value to the customer. You will manage specific credit activities to ensure performance quality and consistency, working on larger, more complex deals focused on the Middle Market. Additionally, you may partner with Lending/Credit Officers to address exceptions identified by auditors and perform periodic inspections at customer sites to ensure adherence to loan agreements.

Growth & Development

TD is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation opportunities and defining growth opportunities and skill development as key features of the colleague experience. Through regular development conversations, training programs, and a competitive benefits plan, we provide the support needed to thrive both at work and at home. If you are interested in a specific career path, you will have access to an online learning platform and various mentoring programs to help unlock future opportunities. We foster a respectful workplace where diverse perspectives are valued, ensuring everyone has fair opportunities to grow and achieve their career goals.

Hiring Process

We are delighted that you are considering building a career with TD. Candidates of interest will be reached out to schedule an interview. We strive to communicate outcomes to all applicants via email or phone call. Upon joining, we provide training and onboarding sessions to ensure you have everything needed to succeed in your new role.
