As a Counselor at our Martinsville, Indiana location, you will provide direct clinical counseling services and support continuity of care from admission through discharge and follow-up. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based substance use disorder treatment through individual, group, and family counseling while working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
You will partner with the clinical team in patient care decision-making, assessing counseling needs using DSM criteria and ASAM guidelines. Your day will involve preparing and implementing individualized treatment plans, facilitating crisis intervention, and coordinating support services for patients and their families. You will also communicate with external referral sources, including legal, school, and employer partners, to ensure a comprehensive approach to recovery.
