Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage month-end and quarter-end accounting activities tied to inventory and revenue transactions
- check_circlePrepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure compliance
- check_circleReview gross margin performance and develop analyses to highlight cost trends and variances
- check_circleLead inventory-related accounting tasks including audit support and cycle count reviews
- check_circleSupervise and mentor a team of cost accounting and estimating professionals

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- verified7–10 years of progressive experience in cost accounting
- verified5 years of experience in aerospace, defense, or government contracting settings preferred
- verifiedStrong knowledge of cost accounting methods, standard costing, inventory accounting, and financial analysis
- verifiedExperience leading close activities and producing accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and margin reporting
- verifiedProficiency with Oracle and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- verifiedSolid understanding of internal controls, compliance expectations, and audit support requirements
