Corrections Oversight Worker

About the Role

The Corrections Oversight Worker serves as a vital link in the food service operations within correctional facilities, ensuring that meal production aligns with strict production plans and safety standards. In this role, you will supervise inmates to oversee food preparation and tray assembly, while simultaneously training workers in proper methods and coordinating daily tasks to promote operational efficiency.

Beyond food production, this position is responsible for maintaining the sanitation of the facility and upholding personal safety by conforming to all relevant standards and regulations. You will work independently with limited supervision, exercising good judgment and tact to manage security policies, inventory, and schedules. This role is dynamic; job duties may change or new ones may be assigned to meet the specific needs of the client and business requirements.
