Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSupervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly
- check_circleTrain workers on proper cooking procedures and Aramark recipes
- check_circlePrepare work schedules and sanitation schedules for staff and inmates
- check_circleAdhere to security policies and ensure storage areas and keys are secured
- check_circleAssign and coordinate work to promote operational efficiency
- check_circleReview and approve production and temperature logs
- check_circleEnsure timely meal service and adherence to portion and dietary requirements
- check_circleEnsure compliance with HACCP policies and food handling standards
- check_circleConduct inventory, receive, and store food and food-related items
- check_circleParticipate in meal preparation, storage, and assembly processes
Requirements
- verifiedMust be over 18 years of age
- verifiedMinimum of one (1) year of food prep or related work preferred
- verifiedAbility to obtain a food safety certification
- verifiedMust qualify for and maintain correctional facility security clearance
Nice to Have
Minimum of one (1) year of food prep or related work. Previous supervisory experience. Previous experience interacting with inmates.
