The Corporate Meeting Planner serves as a vital strategic partner within the organization, bridging the gap between business needs and operational execution. In this hybrid capacity based in Princeton, NJ, you will lead the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for meetings, conventions, and global travel operations. This role is designed for a professional who thrives on navigating complex vendor landscapes, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring that every event and travel initiative aligns with the company's strategic goals.
You will act as the primary representative for the Enterprise Value Management (EVM) team, providing advisory support from the initial request for proposal (RFP) through to contract close-out. Your day-to-day involves sourcing event venues, managing Requests for Information (RFIs), and driving cost-savings initiatives while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory and internal policies. This is a dynamic position where your ability to balance financial prudence with relationship management will directly impact the organization's ability to execute its global travel and meeting strategies.
This is a hybrid role based in Princeton, NJ, with a schedule of Tuesday through Thursday in the office (with flexibility for Wednesday-only attendance at times). You will join a team dedicated to operational excellence, where ethical standards, accuracy, and efficiency are paramount. The culture values strong interpersonal communication and the ability to collaborate effectively with Strategic Business Units (SBUs) and Functional Centers of Excellence (FCEs).
