This position serves as a vital support pillar for patient care services, ensuring the smooth operation of nursing staff through strategic scheduling, staffing coordination, and report development. The role exists to maintain adequate nursing coverage across all shifts, adapting to variable census conditions while supporting the hospital's operational needs.
In this capacity, you will work closely with the Nursing Director and Manager to assign personnel, manage replacements, and communicate staffing issues. Your day-to-day involves preparing and maintaining staffing schedules, updating personnel phone lists, and assisting in the development of special projects related to patient care services. You will also play a key role in accurately recording payroll data and managing calendars for float and per diem nursing personnel.
Multiple shifts are available for this per diem, as-needed position, offering flexibility to meet the dynamic needs of the hospital.
