WMG Global Sync handles sync licensing for the entire Warner Music Group roster. From legacy artists such as Aretha Franklin and Led Zeppelin to young up-and-comers such as Sombr and Prateek Kuhad, our unit works hard to research, clear, and negotiate opportunities in film, TV, advertising, video games, mobile apps, promos, and trailers.
As a Coordinator, Clearance for WMG Global Sync U.S., you will work closely with all members of the clearance department, gaining access, visibility, and opportunities to learn and assist with various types and levels of sync deals. This role will rapidly introduce you to a wide variety of music supervisors, music clearance specialists, artist managers, and label partners.
You will have the opportunity to independently negotiate your own deals and maintain your own relationships. The position offers a unique blend of high-level administrative support, data management, and direct engagement with external partners. You will coordinate with outside parties such as repertoire co-owners and side artist labels, while collaborating with the licensing team to maintain consistency and adhere to established precedents. Additionally, you will liaise with various external business units to execute department needs and work in tandem with studio services teams to facilitate the creation of new audio assets tailored to client specifications.
This position requires a minimum of four days per week in the office. We value in-office collaboration and believe it is essential for talent development and fostering strong working relationships.
