This position serves as a dedicated liaison and instructor within the Advanced Manufacturing Customized Training Program (NCEdge), with a specific focus on the Pratt & Whitney project. The role exists to bridge the gap between academic resources and industry needs, delivering high-quality, hands-on technical training to workforce professionals in areas such as machining, automation, robotics, and quality control.
You will act as the primary point of contact for industry clients, ensuring that training curricula are not only aligned with current manufacturing technologies but also directly address real-world workforce gaps. The day-to-day involves collaborating with A-B Tech's Economic & Workforce Development staff to orchestrate schedules, secure lab spaces, and manage equipment, while simultaneously traveling regionally to coordinate with partner colleges and stakeholders.
Beyond instruction, you will shape the learning experience by developing customized lesson plans and facilitating applied learning environments. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining equipment, managing project documentation, and ensuring that all training activities adhere to state guidelines and project goals.
