For nearly five decades, our non-profit organization has been dedicated to providing a safe environment, free from abuse and neglect, and offering help in times of crisis and non-crisis to strengthen families and build resiliency.
The impact of our work is immeasurable. By joining our team, you will provide critical support and interventions to families in need, helping to break the cycle of abuse and neglect and create strong and successful families. This approach includes both crisis interventions, such as emergency shelter and family reunification services, as well as ongoing support to build family resiliency, including counseling, education, and parenting classes. In 2020 alone, Child Crisis Arizona served over 6,000 children and families through various programs and services.
You will play a vital role in the daily operations of our care centers, ensuring that the children we serve receive nutritious, safe, and culturally appropriate meals. This position is essential to maintaining the high standards of care that define our mission. You will be responsible for the full cycle of food service, from planning and shopping to cooking and cleanup, all while strictly adhering to DHS licensing standards and Maricopa County Health Department sanitation techniques.
Your day will involve collaborating with the Center Manager to order supplies, preparing meals according to a menu developed by a licensed nutritionist, and maintaining accurate records of food served. Beyond the kitchen, you will model the Center's expectations for sensitivity and cultural awareness, contributing to an environment where every child feels safe and valued. We are here because you matter, and we believe that every child matters too!
