Our client, a leading advanced manufacturing and industrial automation company, is seeking a Controls Engineer 3 to join their team within the Engineering Department. In this role, you will provide critical support to Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Automation Teams, ensuring the seamless operation of complex industrial systems.
As a Controls Engineer 3, you will serve as a bridge between design and execution. Your day will involve designing, developing, and optimizing control systems for industrial automation equipment, while simultaneously programming and troubleshooting PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems. You will be the technical anchor during system testing, debugging, and commissioning phases, ensuring reliable operation before handover. Beyond technical execution, you will actively provide technical support and training to maintenance and production teams, fostering a collaborative environment where cross-functional engineering goals are met.
This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge automation and CNC control systems, with specific exposure to Siemens technologies including 840D and PCU50 HMIs. You will join a collaborative team focused on long-term project stability within high-impact manufacturing systems.
