About the Role

This position is critical to keeping our production lines running safely and efficiently. You will serve as a key technical leader, bridging the gap between complex industrial automation systems and daily production priorities. Your mission is to ensure that our control systems, from PLCs and HMIs to servo motors and vision systems, operate at peak performance.

In this role, you will not only troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and control issues but also lead capital projects and drive system upgrades. You will be responsible for designing and modifying electrical schematics to enhance performance while ensuring all work complies with the SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing. Beyond technical execution, you will play a vital mentorship role, training Controls Technicians and cross-functional teams on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and new technologies. Your work directly impacts our ability to meet production goals while adhering to strict GMPs and safety policies.

Requirements

verifiedMinimum 10 years of experience in project engineering
verifiedMinimum 10 years of experience in electrical controls and automated systems
verifiedBachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred
verifiedAdvanced experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, and related PLC/HMI platforms
verifiedProficient in industrial network setup, troubleshooting, and system backups/restoration
verifiedProficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
verifiedPrior experience with networked PLC systems, servo systems, and industrial automation
verifiedSupervisory or project management experience strongly preferred
verifiedCompliance with SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing
