Contingent Assets is connecting a growing company with a strategic Controller to lead its financial operations. This role is critical for a firm seeking to scale, requiring a leader who understands the unique nuances of the construction industry. As the Controller, you will serve as the financial architect for the organization. Your primary mission is to establish robust internal controls, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and create dashboards that drive decision-making. You will oversee all accounting activities in compliance with GAAP, managing complex multi-entity or multi-location structures.
A significant portion of your day will involve mastering the intricacies of job costing, Work in Progress (WIP), and earned revenue reporting using the percentage-of-completion method. You will be responsible for establishing a streamlined month-end process and providing strong financial analysis and FP&A support. Success in this position requires the ability to thrive in a small-company environment while implementing systems that support expansion.
