We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead core accounting operations and provide reliable financial insight for a growing construction organization. This position is designed to oversee day-to-day financial activities, strengthen internal processes, and support executive leadership with clear reporting, forecasting, and strategic business recommendations.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, leadership capability, and a specific background managing financial performance within a construction or project-based environment. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring profitability and cost control by managing Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules, AIA billing processes, and cash flow strategies while collaborating closely with project managers and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting
- check_circleManage and maintain accurate Work-in-Progress schedules ensuring proper revenue recognition and job costing
- check_circleLead AIA billing processes including preparation, submission, and reconciliation of progress billings
- check_circleMonitor and analyze project financials to ensure profitability and cost control
- check_circleDrive cash flow management including forecasting, collections, and payment strategies
- check_circlePrepare and present financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to senior leadership
- check_circleIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance function
- check_circleEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal controls while supporting audit processes
Requirements
