This position serves as the strategic architect of the organization's financial operations, balancing high-level oversight with hands-on leadership. As the Controller, you will ensure financial integrity while driving data-informed decision-making to support sustainable growth. The role is designed for a partner who can align financial performance with broader company goals, acting as both a guardian of compliance and a catalyst for operational efficiency.
You will lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, delivering clear and reliable financial statements that reflect the true health of the business. Beyond traditional reporting, you will partner closely with plant and operations leaders to improve profitability through rigorous cost accounting, variance analysis, and inventory controls. Your work will directly influence how the organization manages cash flow, optimizes working capital, and scales its financial infrastructure.
Your day will be a blend of strategic planning and operational execution. You might spend the morning reviewing journal entries and reconciliations to ensure GAAP compliance, then shift to collaborating with operations leaders on labor efficiency and material usage. Afternoon hours could involve leading the accounting team through performance reviews, optimizing ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, or preparing insights for executive stakeholders. You will foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement, ensuring that financial processes are not just accurate, but scalable and automated for the future.
We are building a financially disciplined and risk-aware environment where safety and integrity come first. Our leadership style is human-centered, prioritizing respect, empathy, and trust in how we develop team members and collaborate across functions. We value transparency, ensuring that financial performance, risks, and opportunities are clearly communicated to enable informed decisions. As an innovative and resilient team, we embrace automation and system enhancements to drive efficiency, maintaining composure and effectiveness even under tight deadlines or during complex audits.
We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, identity, or experience, fostering a workplace where everyone can thrive.
