We are seeking a Contract Manager, Project Controls to join our team in Westwood, MA. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of Transmission and Engineering contracts that support the execution of our Capital Portfolio. You will serve as a strategic partner to Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, and Legal teams, ensuring all agreements comply with legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
Your day-to-day involves analyzing contract terms to identify risks, guiding mitigation strategies, and monitoring rates, schedules, and scope. You will partner closely with procurement to manage rebidding activities for major contract categories, establishing performance expectations aligned with industry and safety standards. Beyond oversight, you will maintain strong vendor relationships, track contractor performance, pursue back charges and warranty claims, and conduct audits to reduce billing errors. Additionally, you will support project teams by resolving design conflicts, maintaining accurate contract data in eBuilder, and driving process improvement initiatives.
Eversource supports work-life balance through hybrid schedules. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day determined by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change based on managerial discretion and performance. All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed for emergencies, training, or other business needs.

Responding to emergency situations is part of every employee's role. If employed, you will be assigned an Emergency Restoration duty, meaning you may be called to assist during emergencies outside normal hours and locations. The role also requires travel between MA, CT, and NH to engineering office locations, project sites, and contractor locations.

MBA or equivalent Master's degree education. Project Management certification (PMP).

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience required; MBA or equivalent Master's degree education strongly preferred.
