About the Role
The Continuous Improvement Engineer serves as a catalyst for operational excellence, dedicated to refining manufacturing and business processes through the application of Lean principles. This position is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical efficiency and practical execution on the production floor. By leveraging time studies, standard work, and structured problem-solving methodologies, the engineer drives tangible improvements that enhance workflow, reduce waste, and elevate overall organizational performance.
In this role, you will spend significant time observing processes in real-time, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing practical solutions. You will lead and support Lean activities, including Kaizen events, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and practical problem-solving throughout the company. The role requires a hands-on approach to developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documenting processes to ensure consistency and quality.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSpend significant time on the production floor observing processes, identifying waste, and implementing improvements
- check_circleLead and support Lean and continuous improvement activities, including Kaizen events

Requirements
- verified3+ years of experience in continuous improvement, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or a similar role
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Process Engineering
- verifiedLean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
- verifiedExperience working in an ISO 9001 environment preferred
- verifiedExperience working in a manufacturing environment supporting production, quality, engineering, or process improvement activities
- verifiedWorking knowledge of Lean manufacturing and structured problem-solving methods
Nice to Have
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment.
