About the Position
The Consumer Lending Operations Specialist is responsible for the daily servicing and production of Consumer loan operations. A successful individual in this role will be forward-thinking, assisting with department projects as assigned by the operations manager and ensuring the Credit Union's Consumer loan closing and servicing policies and procedures are adhered to on each request. In addition, you will contribute to the ongoing development of processes and procedures while maintaining knowledge of each functional area, including validating reporting, billing, tracking of insurances and taxes, collateral management, and paid-in-full loan record keeping.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide daily support for all aspects of Consumer Loan product servicing
- check_circlePerform loan account maintenance, servicing, balancing, and GL reconciliation
- check_circleComplete payment processing, data entry, and collateral and file maintenance
- check_circleCode loans to ensure accurate reporting in Call Reports and other formats
- check_circlePerfect Credit Union liens for real estate and non-real estate loans
- check_circleMonitor and validate periodic loan reports to identify anomalies and resolve issues
- check_circleIdentify risks and recommend process improvements for loan operations
- check_circleOrganize loan files and manage suspense items using checklists
- check_circleEnsure compliance with lending laws and regulations through training and audits
- check_circleAssist in testing and implementing system upgrades for loan operations
Requirements
