This position serves as a critical financial partner to the General Manager, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of the hotel's financial operations. The role exists to maintain strict control over accounts receivable, accounts payable, and daily revenue reporting while acting as the primary liaison for all corporate accounting requests. You will be the guardian of the property's financial health, ensuring that all administrative procedures function effectively and that the hotel remains compliant with all applicable laws and ownership policies.
In this capacity, you will not only manage the day-to-day mechanics of the finance department but also provide strategic insights. You will forecast revenue and expenses, analyze the monthly P&L to uncover trends and opportunities, and advise the General Manager on operational adjustments driven by tax code revisions. The role requires a blend of meticulous attention to detail and strong leadership, as you will set the standard for conduct, punctuality, and performance within the accounting team.

Candidates selected for this role will be expected to demonstrate their ability to perform essential functions, including complex mathematical calculations and the use of specific computer programs. The selection process will focus on verifying your intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables), your knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS), and your ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Successful candidates will be prepared to advise the General Manager on all accounting matters and prioritize tasks as established by leadership.
