About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support our Accounting and Finance department in Canton, MA. You will be part of a high-energy team of professionals who are passionate about precision, accuracy, and customer support. Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will play a vital role in keeping our financial operations running efficiently while supporting the sales and service efforts of our broader team.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProcess and review expense reports for 200+ employees including account coding and approvals
- check_circleTrain new hires and staff on expense reporting applications and travel booking systems
- check_circleManage vendor payment processes including initiating wire transfers and ACH payments
- check_circleSupport the 1099 reporting process at year-end and assist with special projects as needed
- check_circleReconcile monthly vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with internal and external parties
- check_circleMaintain travel databases and ensure compliance with company travel rules and policies
- check_circleAssist with month-end closing including AP to GL reconciliation and accrual processes
- check_circleReceive, verify, and process vendor invoices ensuring accurate general ledger classification
Requirements
