Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona partners with St. Joseph Hospital Medical Center (SJHMC), the oldest ACS-verified Level I trauma center in central Phoenix. We are seeking a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This role provides consultation-liaison psychiatric services to a broad variety of patients at SJHMC. Coverage includes the emergency department, intensive care unit, medical-psychiatric unit, and neurorehabilitation patients.
SJHMC is home to the Barrow Neurological Institute, an internationally recognized center for neurosurgery and neurology. This unique environment provides extensive opportunities to care for patients with complex neuropsychiatric illness. The position includes 5 days per week of inpatient general hospital coverage, with one weekend per month (weekdays may be exchanged for weekend coverage). Additionally, the role offers an academic appointment at the Creighton University School of Medicine commensurate with experience.
