About the Role
As a Consultant in Program Underwriting, you will go beyond standard analysis to deliver actionable recommendations and lead program strategy. This role exists to bridge the gap between complex risk analysis and strategic execution, ensuring that underwriting decisions align with both portfolio goals and customer needs. You will act as a subject matter expert, driving initiatives from problem identification through execution while maintaining full accountability for outcomes.
In this position, you will review and analyze highly complex lines of business, making critical decisions on acceptability, pricing, and coverage. You will lead the development and integration of new programs, participate in reinsurance decisions, and collaborate with internal partners to create underwriting guidelines and tools. Success in this role requires building strong relationships with program managers, brokers, and reinsurers, as well as mentoring and training team members to foster a culture of excellence.

Work Environment
This role operates within a normal office environment but includes the ability to travel locally and overnight for client meetings and marketing visits.
