Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry dedicated to eliminating poverty housing and homelessness worldwide. Our mission is to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action by inviting people of all backgrounds, races, and religions to build houses in partnership with families in need. We operate through administrative and operational headquarters in the United States, as well as regional offices in the Philippines, Costa Rica, and Slovakia, serving communities across the globe.
As a Construction Administrator, you will be a vital support pillar for our residential building projects, ensuring business operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role exists to bridge the gap between project management, financial accountability, and community engagement. You will coordinate critical project documentation, assist with complex scheduling, manage accounts payable, and serve as the primary liaison between contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Your day will involve tracking permits and contracts, monitoring project timelines and budgets, and maintaining rigorous safety and regulatory compliance. Beyond the technical aspects of construction administration, you will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with homeowners, donors, and the community, directly supporting Habitat's mission. You will also manage warranty service requests, answer department calls, and ensure that all project files and reports are meticulously updated.
To apply for this position, please send your resume and cover letter to eschrank@habitat-sa.org. Please note that we are not accepting phone calls at this time.
