As a Red Team Activities (RTA) Team Leader for the Global Operations Support and Threat (GOST) Branch under the Global Operation Support Information Insight and Threat (GOSIIT) Division, you will lead a specialized unit of UxS Pilots. Our mission is to integrate the latest counter-UxS threat training, emerging enemy TTPs, and vulnerability assessments to enhance the operability and combat sustainability of DoD, IC, and coalition forces across CONUS and OCONUS locations.
At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do. As a valued team member, you will be part of a high-performing group dedicated to our customer's missions, driven by a higher purpose to ensure the safety of our nation. We foster a culture of integrity and an environment of trust, offering the autonomy to take the time you need and access to robust learning resources to make your ambitions a reality.
In this role, you will provide subject matter expertise that bridges the gap between technical capability and operational reality. You and your team will deliver comprehensive, focused, and objective counter-UxS expertise to support commands, ensuring operational continuity. Your day-to-day involves managing and guiding less-experienced team members, including CACI staff and subcontractors, while performing administrative functions such as timecard approval, performance reviews, and candidate screening.
A significant portion of your time will be spent in the field. You will provide red air support during CONUS currency training at pre-determined flight areas and conduct comprehensive threat assessments of customer locations. You will interact directly with units preparing to deploy to areas facing improvised UxS threats, providing critical red air training that increases their insight and knowledge. This includes creating real-world scenarios where units can practice recognizing, detecting, reporting, and neutralizing UxS threats. Additionally, you will lead enemy red air TTPs during live fire exercises (LFX) and design flight patterns to validate counter-systems.
You will also assist government customers in coordinating deployment schedules, ensuring all team members meet deployment requirements, and supporting pre-deployment planning and training. Relocation to Aberdeen Proving Ground is required for this position.
Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance and be able to obtain a Certified FAA 107 UAS Pilot License and an Amateur Radio Technician License (HAM). The selection process evaluates technical proficiency with COTS multi-rotor and fixed-wing aircraft, experience in System Validation Exercises (VALEX), and the ability to design and fabricate UxS solutions.
