About the Role
Amentum is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst Professional to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC). In this role, you will serve as a key advisor to the Integrated Product Team, guiding program management, engineering, and cybersecurity stakeholders from project inception through completion. Your primary mission is to ensure the integrity of hardware and software configurations, managing the full lifecycle of configuration and data management activities to meet strict program contractual requirements.
You will act as the guardian of the product baseline, analyzing design changes across drawings, specifications, and test procedures to determine their impact on the overall system. This involves performing physical audits, documenting findings, and deploying corrective actions to maintain rigorous version control over multiple baselines working simultaneously. Beyond technical execution, you will lead and mentor analysts, providing work assignments and training on engineering project development phases and essential tools. Your work ensures that change control processes are strictly enforced throughout the development and sustainment lifecycle, while also overseeing the delivery of program documentation and status accounting updates to the customer.
