Configuration Management Analyst Lead — Cocoa Beach, FL

About the Role

Amentum is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst Lead to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC). In this pivotal position, you will serve as the primary guide for the Integrated Product Team, bridging the gap between Program Management, Engineering, and Cybersecurity from project inception through completion. Your mission is to ensure the integrity of hardware and software configurations, managing the full lifecycle of configuration and data management activities to meet strict program contractual requirements.

As the lead, you will oversee the baseline control of all delivered configuration items and documentation. You will analyze complex product design changes across drawings, specifications, and test procedures to determine their impact on the overall product baseline, recommending necessary adjustments to maintain system integrity. This role demands a hands-on approach to physical audits, where you will document findings and deploy corrective actions to control and update baseline artifacts.

Beyond technical execution, this position involves leading a team of analysts. You will assign work, mentor team members through all phases of engineering project development, and ensure they possess the necessary tools and skills to produce high-quality deliverables. You will also be responsible for writing and reviewing software and hardware change requests to ensure compliance with industry best practices and specific guidelines.

Hiring Process

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. A valid U.S. Driver's License is also required. The role may involve occasional travel to remote sites and the flexibility to work non-duty hours or weekends to support specific project requirements.
