About the Role
Amentum is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst Junior to support the Space Force Range Contract (SFRC). In this entry-level position, you will serve as a vital link within the Integrated Product Team, providing Configuration and Data Management (CMDM) support from project inception through completion. You will work under direct supervision to implement hardware and software configuration activities, ensuring all deliverables meet strict program contractual requirements.
Your day-to-day involves analyzing product design changes across drawings, specifications, and test plans to determine their impact on the overall product baseline. You will perform physical audits on configuration items, document findings, and deploy corrective actions to maintain rigorous version control over multiple baselines. Additionally, you will assist in writing and reviewing change requests to ensure compliance with industry best practices while supporting the development and delivery of program documentation.
