About the Role

This position is essential to our heavy civil construction projects, focusing on the preparation, forming, and pouring of concrete foundations and shafts. You will be responsible for fabricating and erecting formwork and bulkheads using wood and proprietary systems, as well as laying out, placing, and tying rebar. The role requires a high level of precision, including transferring lines and grades, aligning and plumbing forms, and setting sleeves, blockouts, and anchor bolts.

In this role, you will work on bridge finishing machines and erect scaffold and handrail systems. You will also set and plum panels for MSE walls and perform welding tasks. Success in this position requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, perform layout according to scale, and maintain an image of excellence regarding jobsite, trailer, equipment, and vehicle housekeeping. You must be able to work independently, give or receive instructions, and maintain composure and professionalism in all situations while adhering to Allan Myers' safety, production, and quality standards.
