As a Computer Network Defense Analyst (CNDA) based in Ft. Meade, you will play a vital role in identifying potential vulnerabilities and defending against cyber events. Your work will span the gamut of data transport possibilities, from traditional wired networks and wireless transport (including Wi-Fi and cellular) to collaborative platforms like video teleconferencing.
In this role, you will utilize data from intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and network traffic logs to respond to cyber events and develop mitigations that strengthen network defenses. You will apply your analytical skills to form hypotheses, critically assess analysis techniques, and pivot within data to share insights with stakeholders and intelligence consumers. You will also be responsible for distilling, documenting, and contextualizing your findings, including any new tradecraft you develop, to support the broader mission.
