About the Role

We are seeking a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join our team in Crownsville, MD. In this role, you will be the frontline defender, monitoring, detecting, and analyzing threats to identify and defend against validated intrusion events. Your daily work involves monitoring network and system security events, conducting threat hunting through event data and activity logs, and developing alarms for suspicious or malicious activity.

You will execute and help create operational processes for consistent monitoring of client environments, working closely with the Incident Response Team during incident management engagements. This position requires a dynamic team player capable of working independently to establish priorities and manage task completion within set SLAs. You will be responsible for enriching monitoring logs with contextual data, triaging validated incidents, and preparing detailed reports to summarize detected activities.

Location and Schedule

This is a 100% onsite position located in Crownsville, MD. The role operates on a fixed shift schedule from 3 PM to 11:30 PM ET.
