Our client is a global, research-driven pharmaceutical manufacturer dedicated to developing treatment options for diseases and conditions where no satisfactory therapies currently exist. The organization is committed to advancing science to make a tangible difference in patient lives.
As a Computational Image Analysis Scientist, you will join a team focused on the quantitative analysis of 2D and 3D biomedical imaging data. This role is pivotal in supporting biomarker discovery, translational research, and preclinical or clinical studies. You will bridge the gap between advanced programming, machine learning, and digital pathology to define analytical endpoints and experimental designs.
In this position, you will develop and optimize image analysis pipelines for complex datasets, including histology, immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF), and multiplex imaging. Your work will involve applying classical image processing and machine learning methods to perform cell segmentation, classification, and feature extraction. You will collaborate closely with pathologists, biologists, and data scientists to validate image-derived biomarkers, ensuring scientific rigor and regulatory-grade traceability. The role requires a collaborative mindset to transfer workflows across labs and support the interpretation and visualization of imaging data for scientific reports and publications.
