About the Role
This is a hands-on, senior-level R&D position ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives in complex, regulated environments and enjoys working across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines. You will play a critical role in the development of our robotic systems, contributing directly from prototype through verification builds. The day-to-day involves maintaining and upgrading a fleet of robotic systems under formal design control processes, leading system-level troubleshooting for complex electromechanical assemblies, and driving process, reliability, and system performance improvements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure full system traceability for R&D and clinical activities.

Requirements
- verified10+ years of experience in complex electromechanical system R&D environments
- verifiedBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (Associate's degree accepted with exceptional experience)
- verifiedRequired experience in regulated industries (medical devices, aerospace, or similar)
- verifiedProficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, or LabVIEW
- verifiedExperience developing production-level documentation (BOMs, assembly drawings, maintenance instructions)
- verifiedFamiliarity with PLM systems, ECOs, DFM/A, Six Sigma, and statistical tolerance analysis
